In addition to consolidating the Department of Corporations and the Department of Financial Institutions into the new Department of Business Oversight (see announcement at: http://www.docutechcorp.com/document-updates-various-california-disclosures), California has consolidated the Department of Real Estate (DRE) into the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) and will be moving their main address from 2201 Broadway, Sacramento, California, 95818 to 1651 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, California, 95815 (see “We’re Moving!” announcement at: http://www.dre.ca.gov/ for details).
Due to this change in name, we will be changing references to the “Department of Real Estate” to the “Bureau of Real Estate” on the following generic forms:

We will also be updating the relevant address on these forms, if referenced. References to the new Bureau of Real Estate may again change in the future, once further feedback is provided by California’s authorities as to whether reference should be made to the Bureau or to the DCA.
