The Department of Veterans Affairs (“VA”) has issued clarifying instructions concerning VA Form 26-8923 (IRRRL Worksheet) and how this form should be filled out in relation to the Loan Estimate required under 12 CFR §§ 1026.19(e) & 1026.37 (see VA Circ. 26-17.12). Our copy of this form is Cx5535.
Besides line item instructions, the VA instructs that a new Form 26-8923 may need to be completed if a revised LE is issued – as well as the fact that further revisions may need to be made to the LE, if the revised calculations to the IRRRL Worksheet also change the maximum allowable loan amount.
